QuickApplyPilot

ATS CV Checker

Many employers use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to organise applications. QuickApplyPilot's CV checker compares your CV with a specific job description and shows where your CV already uses the role's language and where it could be clearer — using a transparent rubric.

How it works

  1. 1

    Choose a CV

Pick a CV you built in QuickApplyPilot or upload a PDF or DOCX file (up to 5 MB, stored privately).

  2. 2

    Paste the job description

Add the full job advert and, optionally, the role and country.

  3. 3

    Review the report

See keyword alignment, readability, formatting and (on paid plans) AI-assisted experience relevance, with recommendations you can apply to a copy of your CV.

Practical tips

  • Mirror the job description's terminology only where it truthfully describes your experience.
  • Avoid putting key information in images, text boxes or complex tables.
  • Use conventional section headings and consistent date formats.
  • Re-run the check after editing to compare your improvements over time.

What to know

  • The score is QuickApplyPilot's own estimate. It is not the score any employer's ATS produces and does not predict whether you'll be shortlisted.
  • We never recommend adding skills or keywords you don't have.
  • Text extraction from heavily designed PDFs can be imperfect; a simple layout gives the most reliable result.
