Billing questions
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed in advance, either monthly or annually, in US dollars. Prices shown exclude any taxes your payment provider may add for your location. Prices may change; we'll notify existing subscribers before a change applies to them.
Is there a free trial?
No. We don't currently offer a free trial of paid plans. The Free plan lets you try the core tools with no card required.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid features until then and won't be charged again.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, from Billing via our payment provider's secure billing portal. Plan changes may be prorated by the payment provider, which shows any adjustment before you confirm.
What happens when a subscription ends or a payment fails?
If a renewal payment fails, paid features stay available for a short grace period while the payment is retried. When a subscription ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Your CVs, letters and records are kept, though Free-plan limits apply to creating new items.
What counts as an AI operation?
Each AI request — such as improving a CV section, an AI-assisted CV analysis, generating a cover letter, generating interview questions or getting feedback on an answer — uses one operation. Operations reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Failed AI requests are not counted.
Can I get a refund?
Paid plans are non-refundable because you can try everything on the Free plan first. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Mistaken or duplicate charges are always refunded — see our Refund Policy.
